Forget me Not by Brenda Jackson

Fate brought me to read this novel. I accidentally found this novel while I was searching for  "Forget me not" by another author. And here I am falling in love so deeply to this novel so much.
Oh my God.. words couldn't describe what I'm feeling right now. Cause.. this novel is so so sweet. Even the hero and heroin still hanging on in my head right now.

Ashley Ryan never doubted that her husband, Devon, was the love of her life. Even now, three years after Devon died in a car wreck while on a business trip, Ashley can’t bring herself to move on. But when her girlfriends surprise her with a getaway to beautiful Catalina Cove, Louisiana, she gets the shock of her life when she encounters a man—bearded, more rugged than before, but unmistakably her Devon.

“Ray Sullivan” moved to this quiet coastal town after waking up in a hospital with amnesia. Haunted by a life he can’t remember, he’s built walls around his heart and a quiet life running boat tours—a life that includes no recollection of Ashley, a woman he suddenly finds himself irresistibly drawn to.

Doctors warn Ashley of the danger in forcing her husband to remember the past. Though she longs to tell him the truth, she finds herself falling all over again for a man she knows may never truly come back to her. In this place where healing and second chances are just a heartbeat away, can love take root once more?

The first time I read the synopsis on goodreads, it was just,, ok it might be good but it's classic. So, I set aside for another novel which had the same title. But thank God I decided to read it. And wow, since the first chapter I read this book I couldn't think anything else but finished this novel as soon as I could. I was really really drowning to the story of Ashley Ryan and her husband.

Devon Ryan is perfect husband and so does his wife Ashley Ryan. The were so madly in love in each other although they have been married for five years. But fate change the circumstance that made Devon Ryan died in car accident on their fifth wedding anniversary.

Ashley was really really broken about his dead husband. She didn't want to move on to get another love. And it had happened for the three years. Her friends were so worried about her. Even her mother had set her up for another man names Elliot. But it went nothing. She still very loved to her dead husband.

Fate tear them apart and so did fate brought them together.

I very very enjoyed how brenda wrote this story. The slowly burn story has been written is so perfect. I like Ashley very much. She is kind, though, sexy, and fighter. She is the heroin that I'm looking for in second chance romance. Not rush but stay still step by step without irrational condition to engage to the hero.

The hero is kinda perfect guy. He isnt womanizer, bad broken guy or something that made me cringe; Even though life was so hard for him that he couldn't remember who he was cause amnesia deseas. He could think rational thtough his life that he kept
